Custom pressure is based on the clients preference, while incorporating integrated modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Cupping. Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage
In this deep massage your therapist will focus on your specific areas of tension. Using various techniques such as trigger point massage, stretching, deep tissue massage and movement of your joints, your therapist will work deep to release chronic areas of pain and help your muscles regain movement.
Trigger Point Therapy
In Trigger Point Therapy, various methods are used to relieve and eliminate a hypersensitive area known as a trigger point—in the muscle, its tendon, or fascia. Usually the trigger point is not in the area of pain, but digital pressure over the point will elicit pain in a referred area. Trauma is a common cause of trigger points, either by direct injury or excessive stretching and contraction.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People use cupping for many purposes including alleviating pain, inflammation, improving blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
